3×10 workouts can quickly become repetitive and boring for me. I’m definitely my a fan of messing around with sets/reps to keep it interesting and to also avoid my body/muscles getting used to repetitive workouts and not respond as well. Switching up the number of reps, speed of the reps and even rang of motion. I find slowing down reps so great for building mass as your muscle is under tension for longer.
I’ve left the videos at actually speed so you can we exactly what I mean.
-Leg press w/pulse at bottom range, wide legs, slow reps
-Hip abductors w/triple pulse at full ROM
-Hip thrusts 5full-5pulses-5second hold
-Pendulum squats, slow reps
-Dumbbell lunges w/Low Range pause, slow reps, extended stance
